Here is the original prototype fitted with a YS140sport.  The finished weight: 9lbs. 12oz.

The Insight ala' Luis Rodriquez.  Pictures do not do this piece of fine art justice.  Luis created a very cool look with only a few minor mods.  Notice the blending of the fuse to the 3-1/2" FAI spinner, the rounding of the vertical fin, stab and wing tips, and the extension of the canopy height..  YS140L, 10lbs. 4oz.

Insight by Jim Sheffield (pictured next to the red and white prototype).  A custom canopy (glassed foam) and no cheeks are the noticable differences here.  He also rounded the corners on the turtle decks just slightly.  All painted with PPG, YS140sport, Futaba digitals, ES pipe, Bolly landing gear - 10lbs. 8oz.

Here is the prototype after some airbrushing and motor change to the OS160fx with standard muffler.  The OS is setup with a perry pump and turns a 16.5x12apc at approx. 7900rpm.  Total weight with this setup is 10lbs. 10oz. (a couple ounces may be attributed to new paint job).  This setup has been a joy.  The airplane snaps very clean at this weight and the standard muffler setup is completely maintenance free.
